This is a super fun workshop – short yet sufficient to learn basic cutting techniques. For many, a sampler to decide if they would like to do more with this art.
The beginner 5 hour course, focuses on a short introduction learning to cut and shape glass and ceramic tiles. We normally do the mosaic or a round or rectangular tray. The choice of colors is entirely upto you – we have a range of colors you can choose from in the studio. I’ll have some simple design options available to choose from and ensure that you go home with a completed mosaic.
If your mosaic is not dry for grouting, we could do a grouting demonstration and you can take home a small bag of grout and instructions to finish the mosaic at home. Alternatively we can grout the tray for you.
