If you are looking for a creative outlet, but don’t necessarily have any artistic training, then ‘mosaicing’ is the ideal art form. It is creative, meditative, satisfying and enables unique expression.
This is your moment to master the art of creating mosaics in a relaxed and serene environment with likeminded people.
We have mosaic day workshops/long term workshops for adults and children. We also hold progressive workshops for adults. The complexity of the patterns and techniques increases as you move up a level in these workshops.
Learn how to design and create your own mosaics using the direct and indirect methods. Select from a huge choice of materials (glass, porcelain, pebbles, vintage china and stained glass) and colours and be inspired by a large display of mosaics.
What is offered in the workshops?
All the materials and tools required to create your masterpiece will be provided at the workshop. An array of patterns to choose from, a vast range of vitreous tiles, stained glass, beads, bits and bobs are available to create your signature piece. We are here to hone your creativity, we teach you the technique and then let the artist in you unleash. This makes every piece created in the workshop, unique.
The tools used to shape the glass (nippers/scorers/pliers) are available for use at the workshop. It’s always recommended that you buy a set in order to complete some of the project in your own space.
